Not So Good

IMG_5267

These are considerably worse than those on the previous hub. There is no radius remaining on top, and they are getting sharp, even leaning a bit. I’d say the wheel is extremely worn as well to cause this much wear so high up on the splines. These would be safe with a new wheel, although the wheel splines would likely wear much faster than normal. With a worn but good wheel, its probably fine as long as you are aware of it and inspect them regularly, knowing that you will eventually have to replace them. With a worn-out wheel, it would be a scary combination.
