Fire up a fresh razor blade and trim the listing as close as you can to its upper seam, but not so close that you are danger of cutting into the hood material. Just push the top up out of the way as you go across. I find a good method is to wrap the listing until it almost makes its turn upwards, then trim about 1/4” beyond that. Once trimmed, press the remaining listing all the way around the back of the bow and press it down firmly. It should just disappear around the back of the bow and you’ll never see it again. Trim off any stray threads.
