Did you bring your List?

IMG_5202

*Weird camera angle alert!* I am looking up, from a fully-reclined passenger seat. The back window is at the top of the picture. You can reach the whole listing part of the job from here.

Here we have the rear movable bow nestled between the soft flaps of the listing material. Make sure to pull any wrinkles out and trim off any threads that are being pests. Go outside the car and check the position of the bow relative to the seam across the top. I try to get the bow to lay about tin the center. You can move the bow from the outside by bonking it with the heel of your hand.

Go back inside and grab your glue and paintbrush. Apply cement to the inside of the rear flap about 3/4" to 7/8” out. No reason to go nuts. Apply glue to the lower face of the bow and to the rear edge. When the glue has tacked off, pull the listing in short sections down and forward to stick it to the bow. Work your way across, avoiding wrinkles and stray threads.
