Brrrrr...

IMG_5172

Its pretty cool in the shop today and I have not bothered to turn on the furnace this season.  I have elected to go with the tiny space heater and blanket method. Several pieces of masking tape are holding the top at the front, mainly to support the blanket. I’ll let it cook for half an hour and let it come up to “warm summer afternoon" temperature.  We’re not trying to melt it or get it so hot that it becomes softer than it will ever be in actual use.

***As I said before, you’re not allowed to melt anything or start any fires or frighten the cat. Be sensible and safe. The heater I use is a little warm-your-feet-at-the-office kind of thing, not a kerosene-powered barn burner.***

Notice that the front of the drip rail is about an inch aft of the corner of the wing window. This is not where it should be.
