The balanced, over-bored engine has been fitted with low-compression pistons and an early camshaft, to match the increased pressure of the Moss supercharger. Fitment of a high-boost pulley brings boost pressure up to 6.5 lbs. An aluminum cylinder head keeps the chambers cool.
The distributor is an early-production 123 Ignition unit. An MSD Boost Timing Master retards advance under boost to protect from pre-ignition.
Other daily-driver modifications include relay circuits for the fan blower and headlamps and a SmartScreen wiper Module.
Do forgive the general dustiness of the engine. Eric has over 50,000 miles on the G-Ster since the restoration. I think we can cut him some slack!
