Here we are in the process of installing the MGOC ZF power steering rack. The rack comes with a bracket kit and a positioning jig, and is a perfect fit with the steering shaft in the identical spot as the original.
In this shot, the new rack bracket has been welded up and the old perches cut off with the plasma. The alignment and clearance is being checked, before everything is cleaned up in preparation for painting. When completed, only the very observant will know that it is not a factory job.
