Crank Pickup


Once the trigger wheel was mounted on the crank pulley, I could fabricate a bracket to mount the crank sensor. This is an inexpensive Ford EDIS unit. The mounting holes are slotted, allowing me to set clearance to .75-1.0mm. between the pickup and the trigger wheel.

This location proved fortuitous in that I was able to line up the existing timing marks with the center of the pickup.
