Starting with a freshly-restored, show-winning MGB, the customer desired a power plant upgrade, with modern drivability, power steering and an automatic transmission. We used the MegaSquirt open-source ECU and a 3.5 liter V6 out of an '06 Malibu. Full build specs are on the last page.
Rather than have the car shipped to Hawaii, an environment that can be quite caustic to vintage iron, I have recently bought the car back from the customer, and am offering it here for $25,000, a fraction of what has been invested.
