I picked this basket case up for a good price back in 1990 or so. Over the next couple of years, I went through it mechanically and did a quickie paint job. I spent just enough on the interior to do a nice job that will last for a reasonable number of years.
This ended up as my daily driver for the next 3 years, eventually acquiring a big-bore engine and a pair of DCOE Webers. Vroom-a-zoom.
Though the weather equipment was designed over 40 years ago, it worked well enough to keep me warm and dry up here north of Seattle.
Though nothing like a show-winner, it proves that a Little British Car can be a sensible choice for every day use. Well, maybe not exactly sensible, but practical and economical, not to mention lots of fun!
